Shard hotel to open May 2014

A NEW luxury hotel in the UK’s tallest building will open this spring.

The much-anticipated Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London will occupy levels 34 to 52 in the 72-storey skyscraper which has already become a London icon. It will offer 202 guest rooms and suites.

There will be three restaurants in the hotel, which is set to the the highest hotel in Western Europe: GŎNG, will be London’s highest bar on level 52; TĪNG, is the signature restaurant and lounge on level 35; LÁNG is an artisan deli on the ground floor.

The hotel, which will have unparalleled views across the capital, has a confirmed opening date of May 2014.
