New Driftwood boutique hotel opens in Bexhill-on-Sea
A brand new boutique hotel has opened in the seaside town of Bexhill in East Sussex.
‘The Driftwood’ opened last week in Sackville Road – just a minute’s walk from the sea front and the iconic, Grade I listed De La Warr Pavilion.
The chic six bedroom hotel has been created in a three storey Victorian property which was most recently used as an antiques shop.
Seng Loy, who owns Hastings House hotel in nearby St Leonards, has teamed up with business partners Greg Hunt and Li Hong for the Driftwood.
Seng commented: “We were delighted to finally share months of hard work with everyone and to thank a number of key people for their support throughout the planning and refurbishment process.
We are excited to get this new venture up and running and look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy something a little bit different in Bexhill.”
The Driftwood also boasts a 28 seat restaurant where Austrian Michael Roessl is the head chef.
