Aberdeen boutique hotels included in our guide are:

Malmaison – Queen’s Road, Aberdeen

Famous for being the Granite City, it’s apt of course that Aberdeen’s edition of the popular boutique hotel chain Malmaison (****) (pictured top) has been created in a beautiful period granite property. With 79 rooms and suites available, all furnished to the usual high standard expected from Malmaison, the four star hotel in Queen’s Road – just a short walk from the city centre – offers a comfortable and luxurious place to stay. Enjoy huge comfy beds, mood lighting, lovely toiletries, 24 hour room service and free wifi throughout the hotel.

Chester Hotel – Queen’s Road, Aberdeen

Granite is again in abundance at The Chester Hotel (*****) which, like the Malmaison, is in Aberdeen’s Queen’s Road. The Chester Hotel successfully melds its heritage with contemporary design. The striking listed mansion house was previously Simpson’s Hotel but has been benefitted from a substantial investment and refurbishment since being relaunched by experienced hoteliers Graham and Gillian Wood in 2014. The hotel’s 50 guestrooms are all elegantly furnished but the two Club rooms at the top of the hotel are particularly special, with views of the city, super king size beds, rainfall showers and luxurious sofas.
